When Asking a Friend Is Just Not Enough

There is plenty of information out there covering the topic of domestic violence and abusive relationships.

 

Loads of people, no matter what their gender, race, ethnicity or disability status is, experience some forms of abuse. 


Creating a support network around you is paramount!

 

You can reach out to plenty of helplines if you think you are in an abusive relationship. Trained advisors are there to assist you and to give you counselling with no judgement or shame.

 

Remember, Domestic Violence is more common than you think. Don't be afraid to speak up. It is OK to ask for help!

If you feel you are in immediate danger and are based in the UK, call 999. For any other country, you can call your national emergency number.
